OK, so this is the 3rd post today but I just had to mention the wonderful in the round production of La Boheme at the Royal Albert Hall. This is my third time of seeing LaB and definitely the best. Great voices that blended beautifully and a sizzling set with waiters on roller skates, balloons and streamers.
Afterwards we ate at Apero in South Kensington ... really good food from their sharing menu ... would definitely eat there again. Their salads were almost as good as those Paul makes, and the rosemary bread nearly a match for mine!
Slow day today after all of that .. the drizzle is very persistent... time to watch last evening's recording of Salamander. Fancy the Belgians making such a good political thriller -not sure why I'm surprised at that but I am!!
